DISC SUMMER GALA!

Mandeville the Paralympics Mascot

In celebration of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, plans for the DISC Summer Gala are now coming together!

The Gala will be an afternoon of fun filled sports and swimming and will take place on Sunday 15th July 2012 from 1pm - 6pm at Towcester Centre for Leisure, Springfields, Northants NN12 6UW.

There will be the opportunity to participate in Athletic challenges, Archery, Football skills, Boccia & Curling and Wheelchair Basketball. Following these events, we will hold our annual Swimming Gala in the competition pool.

We are now taking registrations for the Summer Gala 2012. Please click here to register your place for the event.

Our medal ceremonies will be performed with the help of Mandeville the Paralympics' Mascot, who will also make other appearances throughout the afternoon!

We are currently looking for volunteers to help with Registration, Stewarding, Recording scores, Totalling results, Judging races. Please contact us on enquiry@disc-northants.org if you are interested.

We look forward to welcoming all DISC members and their families on the day. Please ensure you register your place in advance using either the on-line form or at one of our regular Sunday sessions.
