Feedback February Results...
Thank you for your responses to
our “Feedback February”. It was great to
hear your thoughts and ideas and will help us develop DISC as a sports
club. We had lots of positive comments about Trampolining, and Judo in particular! You also suggested more sports such as Dodgeball (which we then arranged for the 4th March sports session), seated Basketball, Tennis, Cricket, Gymnastics, Circus Skills and Yoga – we are looking into all of these. We also had a request for more sports sessions – whilst we are unable to add more sports sessions into the timetable, we have put a bid in for funding for a water sports session once a month eg water-polo / aqua-zumba etc 😊 Watch this space – fingers crossed!
You had some other great suggestions that we are looking at:
Thank you for taking the time to give us feedback in February – we are always open to your ideas and value your inputs. Please get in touch with us if you have any feedback about sessions – it really is very important to us!

Spring 2018 DISC welcomes Duke of Edinburgh Scheme Volunteers
This year we have some new volunteer faces at our sports sessions... 7 Duke of Edinburgh volunteers have joined us from Sponne School in Towcester. Ed, Georgia, Harvey, Iona, Quinlan and Tea are volunteering for their Bronze award and Ellie is with us for her Gold Award. We really value their energy and enthusiasm and they get really involved with all the sports and interacting with our members. A real credit to Sponne School!!! |
April 2018 4 DISC Volunteers attend Boccia Leaders Course

March 2018 DISC Quiz raised over £700!!!
The DISC Fundraiser Quiz at the Barley Mow in Paulerspury, was a great success, with "Some like it hot" taking first prize and 'Waifs and Strays' showing an impressive knowledge of musical trivia!!! The evening raised just over £700 for DISC, with some fantastic raffle prizes donated by Silverstone, MK Dons, a local artist and many more!! The sausage and mash served up by Matt and Hannah at the Barley Mow was delicious, despite the stress caused by the calor gas lorry (with emergency supplies) arriving just an hour before we were due to eat! A huge thankyou to everyone who came along and made it such an enjoyable event, to Hannah and Matt and team for hosting us, to Roger Clark for joining us for the evening, to Dean and Bruce our Quizmasters and to all our raffle donors and helpers . ![]() |
